Upon graduating from Penn State University with a BS in finance and international business, Mitchell Nadel began a career in sales and trading. Mitchell Nadel has held positions with Bankers Trust (now Deutsche Bank), Bank of America, MUFG Securities, and Cinctive Capital Management.
Working in Bank of America’s Tokyo rates trading and trading management department, Mitchell Nadel managed risk, market-making, and client interactions, among other roles. In this position, he effectively navigated multiple risk events, including the financial crisis, and played a role in the merger between Merrill Lynch and Bank of America by consolidating a team of 35 traders.
Mitchell Nadal was also the head of Americas macro trading at MUFG Securities, overseeing trading and marketing operations and managing teams. While there, he upgraded key trading staff and implemented improved risk management and electronic trading capabilities, strengthening trading operations and overall performance.
He most recently served as a portfolio manager with Cinctive Capital Management in New York, actively trading rate futures and related options in the European, US, and Asian markets. At Cinctive, Mitchell Nadel also played a role in launching a new macro fund with less than six weeks of preparation.
